About Me

Hi, I’m Ben and I have an ardent passion for all things that encapsulate health and physical culture. Drawing from experience with the military, competitive sport and injury recovery – I take the best aspects from high performance environments and make it easily accessible for those that I work with, using techniques from weightlifting and martial arts, to rhythm, dance and circus skills to cultivate a powerfully strong body and mind – all whilst having fun.


Fitness is my primary method of developing life-altering skills. In addition, I like to explore philosophy, psychology, music and history. Life is full of opportunities for growth and I look forward to exploring as many as I possibly can!

There is so much joy and confidence to be had from taking great care of our bodies and enjoying our ability to navigate the world in an endless number of ways. I want to help you explore your own physical potential, to guide you to your personal goals and give you the physical freedom and confidence to try any activities you wish deep into your 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond.

I want for everyone else, what I have been able to achieve. The ability to overcome debilitating injuries and pain, and go on to try anything I want, while continuing to get better every day. This is what I believe is the key to a lifetime of health and fitness.

I champion an approach to training that emphasises health, fun and a lifetime of sustainable progress. My programs outline straightforward, practical methods that allow a beginner to make steady, yet dramatic progress – while providing strategies for even the most accomplished athletes to take their abilities to the next level.

I believe that our lives can be most improved by cultivating a happy and healthy lifestyle through reasonable, consistent exercise.  And there’s no better way to stay consistent than making sure you enjoy yourself in our training sessions. To that end, all sessions and programs will be personalised to your individual needs and goals in a safe and effective way.
