Week 3
As an adult it’s a rare occasion that you go to a children’s park without a child! Session three of our tough Mudder training was that rare occasion and luckily the entire park in Merriot was empty so we didn’t receive any strange looks.
I can’t tell you how much fun we had playing. Yes playing, because that’s exactly what it felt like as we challenged our bodies in lots of different ways. We jumped, climbed, crawled and hung on to the equipment and then included laps of jogging plus a 15 minute hiit session to finish us off! Today’s session was much more intense with the inclusion of the jogging laps and high intensity interval training session. It felt good. We all worked really hard and left feeling invigorated. I’m really looking forward to the next few weeks of Tough Mudder Training. We’ll be visiting the ready2climb climbing wall in Yeovil as well as The Bear Trail in Cullumpton. Bring on more fun movement and exercise!
